The true mark of cowards...

is when you're willing to pick on someone or something just because you can.

Comedy Central gives us a perfect example:

Comedy Central might censor every image of the Prophet Muhammad on "South Park," yet the network is developing a whole animated series around Jesus Christ.

As part of the network's upfront presentation to advertisers (full slate here), the network is set to announce "JC," a half-hour show about Christ wanting to escape the shadow of his "powerful but apathetic father" and live a regular life in New York City.

The same spineless network that tucked tail and ran after receiving an internet threat for a South Park episode depicting Mohammed in a bear suit now wants to make an animated series making fun of God and Jesus Christ.

There's more:

In the show, God is preoccupied with playing video games while Christ, "the ultimate fish out of water," tries to adjust to life in the big city.

To clarify, it isn't the fact that Comedy Central is making a cartoon that mocks Christianity (although that is bad enough), it's the fact that they're willing to broadcast it in the wake of cowering to threats by Muslims. They're spineless.
